Welcome to the St. Catherine of Siena School Academic Junior High Decathlon Team—where students learn to think critically, solve challenging problems, work as a team, and discover what they’re capable of accomplishing.
Our team brings together students in grades 5–8 to prepare for the annual Catholic Academic Junior High Decathlon, a one-day competition featuring ten academic events. Eight events challenge students individually across a range of subjects, while two—Logic Quiz and Super Quiz—bring the entire team together.
But our season is about more than competition.
Through practices, challenges, games, projects, and real-world experiences, students explore new ways to learn and solve problems together. They are encouraged to experiment, make mistakes, adapt their strategies, and try again.
